AMBASSADOR
OF THE MONTH

Diane Thaete

Due to the success of last year's expo, the W.E. planning committee is hard at work preparing for an even bigger and better event.  The date is scheduled for early October.  If you would like to get involved, please contact Mary Stevian, Baird & Warner at 630-759-7755.

Diane Thaete is an Advertising Account Executive and handles the Bolingbrook and South Naperville territory for the former Copley /Suburban Chicago newspapers from the Joliet Herald all the way up to Gurnee.  She meets with clients who are interested in promoting their business through advertising.  She will help you come up with a scheduled plan, layout the designs, and target the communities that would best drive your business.

What Diane likes most about her position is that she gets to meet and interact with many different people within their community and gets to use her hidden creative talent in ad design.

Diane has been an Ambassador with the Chamber since she joined two years ago.  She has served on numerous committees: Santa House, Expo, Luncheon; just to name a few.

Diane graduated from Valparasio University with a major in P.R. and Advertising.  Her prior work experience includes a position with Scalone & Turner Advertising Agency in Oak Brook.

Diane is happily married to her husband, Fredrick, and is "mom" to brother and sister dogs, Micky and Malloy.  She spends her free time working out, shopping, and watching movies.

Congratulations, Diane, and thank you from all of us here at the Chamber for your help, dedication, and hard work here at the Bolingbrook Chamber of Commerce.

President's message continued from
pg. 1-

Improve your business?  I believe it can be done, but it takes all of us to do our part.
I challenge you to make a special effort this month to focus on bringing one person with you to the luncheon.  We are planning to do a special drawing for anyone bringing a guest to our next luncheon.
We at the chamber have a vested interest in your success.  We believe you have a vested interest in helping others succeed so that they can utilize your goods or services.  When we all work together, we all succeed and isn't that what this is all about?  I wish you much success.

Sincerely,
Meredith Bromfield
