Dear Chamber Members:

     March is a great month, one in which hopefully spring will be with us.  Seems like we have had a long winter.  I want to thank all of you who faithfully come to all the luncheons and events in spite of the weather.  So now our thoughts turn to spring and new birth, and in this business this means the end of the first quarter.

     Did we make New Year resolutions that are going to really grow our business, win the company contest, or just make more money?   So here we are with March upon us and we need to ask the question, so where are we?  We at the Chamber are focusing on one of our 5-year goals which is to increase our membership.  The reason for us focusing on this is actually to help you grow your business.  Think about it.  You come to the meeting and you see the same faces all the time.  That is great for building relationships, but unless you see new faces, most of the Chamber members probably have at least three of your business cards.

     When new members join, they will want to let you know about their business and that also allows you to let them know about yours.   As a result of this,  everyone wins.  So how can you help? First, you can bring a friend with you to the next luncheon.  You can volunteer to help with the membership drive.  You can recommend someone you think would be interested in finding out more about the chamber.  Just think about the math of this program: we currently have 340 members of which approximately 70 attend monthly luncheons. If we could get 20 new members every month and encourage 30 of our current members to attend, that is 120 people, wouldn't that
