A MESSAGE FROM THE
President

Welcome to 2002. Please make yourselves comfortable; we will be traveling through time for 365 days and four seasons (five if you consider construction a season).  Hang-on, here we go again...

Looking back on 2001 we remember the good and bad of what life can bring. You plan and set goals, you stride and focus and yet the unpredictability and spontaneity of life reminds us that it is indeed a ride  and we are not always in control. But in no way does this mean that we should not direct our strengths toward making our life and that of others the best possible.

As business owners and managers you are truly community leaders making a difference in this community, which in turn makes this great country what it is today. Look back on what you have accomplished and build on that success. Yes, there are things that in fact are out of our control but we learn to make it work.  Focus on what you can control, where your thoughts and actions will bring forth positive results.

The year 2001 has come and gone. We saw a new beginning in our country's presidency, a millionaire in space, a new beginning with our BEARS, and the word CUTS became a buzz word in corporate America, cowardly terrorist attacked our country, and Americans came together and showed the strength of this nation.  Amongst the many events that 2001 brought we each remember certain ones for different reasons.  And with those memories, good or bad, we know that new events will enter our lives to create more memories.

Welcome to 2002, do what you can to make it a great year for yourself and others.

Hold on, here we go again!
