A MESSAGE FROM THE
PRESIDENT

Dear Members,

As many of you noted, the State of the Village Address was a great success
in January.  I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of those individuals who worked collectively to accomplish the goal of making the event the success that it was.

Many hours of work from the Chamber and Village staff and volunteers are required to present the information at the luncheon. As usual, a special Thank You to the event  speaker, Mayor Roger Claar, for his informative and sometimes entertaining presentation.  As we move forward, this will continue to be a growing event, one that many will look forward to attending.  As such, we promise to continue to work hard to make the State of the Village luncheon a pleasant event.

We hope to have a facility in the near future to accommodate such a well-attended event.  This will no doubt be happening soon.  I thank those that attended this year for their cooperation and understanding. Also, a sincere thanks to the staff of the Holiday Inn.

Now it is time to move on in 2002 and look forward to more upcoming events.
And you can bet that we will work hard to make those events as successful as that last luncheon.

Sincerely,

Rick Morales
President

Dear Newsletter Recipient:  Please make every effort to pass this newsletter along to fellow employees so they too can benefit from the Chamber of Commerce events and activities.  Maybe a routing slip could be attached so it would be returned to you after every employee has had an opportunity to look it over.  Keep in mind that your entire company is a Chamber member and we value each of you.  Thanks, Peg Kenyon; Executive Director.
