THE PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Dear Chamber Members:

Our membership drive was a huge success.  Thank you to everyone involved.  It was exciting to see so many new faces at our last luncheon. We welcome you and are grateful that you came. Wasn't our speaker great!  I want to thank our luncheon committee for the great speakers you have brought to us.

Spring is in the air and businesses are popping up all over Bolingbrook. I hope that you are taking this opportunity to visit other chamber members and let them know you are part of the chamber family.  This truly is a great place to do business.

Your chamber board wants to send out a "
HELP WANTED" to all members.  We would like each and every one to carefully consider becoming part of one of our committees over the next month.  Some committees are on-going and some are just for special events.  They say that every project is easy when there are many hands.  We, your board, want to make every thing we do a first rate program.

This can only be accomplished with your help.  Please contact the chamber office (630) 226-8420 in the next week and ask for a list of all the committees,
and volunteer to be part of at least one
of them.  We would really appreciate that.

Have a prosperous and successful April.
Together we can make a difference.

Chamber Surpasses
Membership Drive Goal

"We set our goal for 30 new members and to date we have brought in 40 with another week and a half to go," said Cesar Pinzon, Membership Drive Chairman.  We are  grateful
to
Country Inn & Suites for donating a room along with donuts and coffee each morning
for the three days of the phone-a-thon.
Beep Smart loaned us not only the cell phones, but 400 minutes per phone that were used to call on our potential new members.  Pizza By Marchelloni was gracious enough to donate pizzas each day for lunch for our callers, and Dennan Office Equipment loaned us a fax machine to use to get additional information to these folks.

The Kick-Off Party was held at the Winston Village Club House and Broosters donated Caesar Chicken Salad and bread sticks for 40 people.  In addition, soda, wine and beer were graciously donated by Jewel Foods.

Julie Reimer, Goldman Promotions and Maureen Hayes Leyva were part of the Committee who helped organize this entire event and for that we are grateful.

Those who manned the phones were:
