Event Description:
Join the Bolingbrook Area Chamber of Commerce for our April Membership Luncheon, coming up on Thursday, April 21, at the Levy Center hosted by Nancy's Pizza.
Ben Taylor, who is the Executive Director for the Great Lakes region Congressional & Public Affairs for the US Chamber of Commerce will be speaking at the luncheon about Illinois Legislation.
You may have heard in the latest Presidential debate/townhall/stump speech (from just about any candidate on either side of the aisle) that the sky is either falling, disproportionately visible to the top 1%, or perhaps, not really there at all…the stars you see are just an elaborate façade propped up by the Washington elites. Are these views grounded in reality or physics? Does it matter or is it just about the eyeballs they lure and clicks they generate? What did happen in Congress last year, and what’s in store during a truncated legislative season for the remainder of 2016? What are the political races the business community is watching this cycle?
Come hear the U.S. Chamber’s take on all or most of the above, and come ready to share your stories and concerns in an interactive dialogue.
Advanced registration is required. You can register online, via email, or Via phone 630-228-8420
