Business After Hours
For businesses which either already hosted a Ribbon Cutting or missed their window of opportunity to do so, the Chamber provides an alternative marketing solution in their monthly Business after Hours events. Much like a Ribbon Cutting, these late afternoon/early evening gatherings bring together business professionals and community leaders in a member-hosted, social environment. Complete with food and beverages and held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM usually on the first Thursday of every month. Business after Hours events give our members a chance to unwind from the week, build upon existing and new professional relationships, and become engaged with their host business.
For those businesses whose hours are not conducive to a Business After Hours, we can also arrange a Business Before Hours. These usually run from 7:30 - 9:00 AM.
If you are interested in scheduling a Business after Hours event for your business, please contact Melissa Infusino at (630) 226-8408. Due to the high interest for hosting these events, members are limited to one BAH event per eighteen months. They are held on the first Thursday of every month. Food and beverages (beer and wine minimum) are required to be served. Alcohol is permitted at Ribbon Cuttings and Business after Hour events and no special license is required.
