The Bolingbrook Chamber of Commerce & Industry

Volume 52                                                                SEPTEMBER 1999

Dear Members:

The Chamber Business Expo '99 was held on August 21 and 22 on the grounds of Village Hall.  We had 25 exhibitors and an estimated 1500 residents who walked through the tent visiting the businesses who participated.

Jan Peterson deserves a special thank you for coordinating the Expo.  The surveys spoke highly of the event.  Jan has worked extremely hard each year to better this worthwhile event for the residents and businesses of Bolingbrook.  Jan's committee consisted of Ken Lindemann, Jon Rodgers, John Girolamo, Diane Thaete, George Primm and Agnes Laycock.  Thank you very much for all your work.  I would also like to thank all of the folks who spent their Saturday and Sunday volunteering for this event.  We appreciate you too.

The Bolingbrook Sun and the Business Ledger, co-sponsors of this event, are to be commended for their support of this endeavor.

Please be sure to attend the Member Appreciation Luncheon this month at Hidden Lakes.  Tony Marquez and his crew will be cooking up a storm for all of you on Sept. 16th from 11 am-2 pm.  I hope to see you there.

Sincerely,

Peg Kenyon
Executive Director
