Dear
Members:
I would like to take some time to thank several groups
of people who make the Chamber what it is today and what it is
becoming.
The Board of Directors is
one of the most active, enthusiastic and dedicated groups of
people I have had the pleasure of working with. My last
15 years have been spent working with volunteer boards and I
must say this group is very special. Thank you for all
you do for me, both professionally and personally.
The Ambassadors are amazing. No matter what
we ask of them, they just jump right in and help out.
It's extraordinary to have a group of individuals, of this
caliber, working so tirelessly for this type of
organization. I recently attended "Institute",
a five day training session for Chamber Execs, and of the 29
people in my class, I can honestly say that I was the ONLY one
who didn't have a problem recruiting volunteers. Thanks
to each and every one of you.
The
Event Committees are another group of distinct individuals.
Our events are growing both in attendance and in revenue.
I believe that an event is only as good as its committee
members. So what does that tell us about our volunteers?
Thank you for working so hard. I know it isn't
always easy working an event, especially with those which are
held outdoors.
