Peg Kenyon has served the Bolingbrook Chamber as its Executive Director since June of 1997. She brings with her a great deal of leadership qualities as well as experience in management and event coordination from her previous positions with the New Lenox School District, the Rialto Square Theatre in Joliet, and Integris Health System Foundation in Oklahoma. Peg continues to strive towards bigger and better things, and in June of 2002 she graduated from the Institute for Organizational Management presented by the United States Chamber of Commerce. This series of week-long development institutes is designed to help participants build skills to prepare them to address such challenges as greater competition, increased member demands, and tighter resources so that chambers are positioned to meet the needs of the 21st century. She is currently a member of IACCE (Illinois Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives) and is on the Planning Committee for the Fall 2003 conference scheduled in Galena, Illinois. |
