Karen Anderson is Director of the Fountaindale Public Library District. A resident of Bolingbrook for more than twenty years, Karen has served on the Chamber Board of Directors since 1995. She is currently serving a fourth year as Secretary of the Board and served as President of the Chamber for the 1998/1999 term. |

Karen is active in many community organizations.� She is a member of the Bolingbrook Rotary Club, serving as its president in 2000-2001.� She is also a member of the American Association of University Women and was recipient of the AAUW Women in High Esteem Award in 2002.�� In 1998-99 she served on the board of the Bolingbrook Local Development Corporation as the Chamber liaison, and in 1998 Karen was awarded the Distinguished Service Award from the Bolingbrook Jaycees in recognition for her service contributions to the community. |

Karen's 20+ years of employment at the Fountaindale Public Library provides her with a good understanding of the growth and development of the community. She is a strong advocate of volunteering in the community and a strong supporter of Bolingbrook and its business community. |
