Karen Anderson

Karen Anderson is Deputy Director/Operations
Manager of the Fountaindale Public Library District. A resident of
Bolingbrook for more than twenty years, Karen has served on the Chamber Board
of Directors since 1995. She served as Secretary of the Board for two years
and served as President of the Chamber for the 1998/1999 term.
|
|
Karen is active in many community
organizations.� She presently serves
as President of the Bolingbrook Rotary Club and is a member of the American
Association of University Women. She served on the board of the Bolingbrook
Local Development Corporation as the Chamber liaison in 1998-1999. �In 1998 Karen was awarded the Distinguished
Service Award from the Bolingbrook Jaycees in recognition for her service
contributions to the community.

Karen's 20 years of employment at
the Fountaindale Public Library provides a good understanding of the growth
and development of the community. She is a strong advocate of volunteering in
the community and a supporter of Bolingbrook and its business community.

Roger Hirschman
|
|
Roger is a long time resident of
Bolingbrook. He has been married to Susan for over 32 years. They have two
children�Jocelyn who is an epidemiologist for the state of Arizona and Marc
who works as an installer for Cabinets 4U.
|
|
Roger is past president of the
Bolingbrook Lions Club and is now secretary for the Bolingbrook Rotary. He has
chaired or served on many different committees for both organizations.
|
|
Cabinets 4U was started about 13
years ago with a pick-up truck and $22 worth of business cards. Roger is
still grateful to all of his customers who trusted their kitchens to a company
that didn�t ever have a showroom.
|
|
Today, Cabinets 4U has a
beautiful showroom with it�s own warehouse and delivery trucks. It also has
its own staff of full time trained designers. Stop in at 350 Manor Court and
have a cup of coffee.

Wayne M. Kwiat, Sr.
|
|
The roots of Wayne M. Kwiat, Sr.
are in the Chicago area, having been raised in Burbank, Illinois.� After receiving his B.A. degree in Political
Science at Western Michigan University, he went on to John Marshall Law
School in Chicago where he was awarded his Juris Doctor degree.� Since passing the Illinois Bar Exam, he
has been practicing law in Will County for over 20 years.

Wayne has served the local
business community since his early years here.� He was a charter member of the Bolingbrook Business
Association, which later became the Bolingbrook Chamber of Commerce.� He has served three terms as its
President, as well as a term as Secretary, and has been on several
committees.� He is now a member of the
Board of Trustees.
|
|
In addition to his service to the
business community, Wayne has been recognized as President of the Parade
Committee, as coach for Little League and T-Ball, church leader, Jaycee
activities, and Republican Committeeman.�
He was recipient of the 1990 Jaycees �Distinguished Service Award� as
well as the �Citizen of the Year� by the Mayor of Bolingbrook.� As a practicing attorney, he was awarded
the 1995 �Outstanding Pro Bono Volunteer� from the Will County Legal
Assistance program and the 1995 Certificate of Honorable Mention from the
Illinois State Bar Association.� He
has also been active in Rotary Club, the Boy Scouts, and St. Dominic�s
Church.

Wayne has a son, Wayne Jr., who
is a freshman at Lincoln Christian College, and two adult daughters,
Stephanie and Kellie, who have blessed him with four grandchildren.

Maureen Hayes
Leyva
|
|
Maureen is a Business Development
Officer at CIB Bank in Bolingbrook, charged with the responsibility of
bringing in new accounts and continuing the bank�s good rapport with existing
clients.� She has been with CIB Bank
since 1998, where she started out in the Trust Department.� Since opening its doors in Bolingbrook in
1997, CIB Bank has been committed to being involved in the community and to
making their bank the �bank of choice�.

|
Maureen and her husband of seven
years, Daniel, have been Chamber members since March, 2000.� They joined to build business
relationships and for the opportunities the Chamber presented to network.� She has certainly done so, already serving
the Chamber on the Women�s Expo steering committee, as well as on the summer
picnic committee.� She is one of the
newest members of the Chamber�s Board of Directors, beginning her term in
October of this year.

Serving the community is a
long-standing habit for Maureen.�
Before moving to Plainfield two years ago, she served her hometown,
the Village of Romeoville, as Village Clerk.�
Maureen is past president and current Director on the board of the
Bolingbrook Business & Professional Women organization.� She also is serving on the Local
Development board, is sergeant-at-arms for the local Rotary, and is serving
as treasurer for her homeowners� association.

Mary Jane Likens
|
|
Around 1990, when M.J. Likens was
having a "mother's moment" of the "these kids are making me
crazy" variety, she decided to put her education, experience and her
creative entrepreneurial side together and conceptualize a business that
would pull all the family energy together and provide her four young adults
with solid business skills as they progressed into the adult word.
Jamaica-Me-Crazy tanning salon was born. Now, eight years later,
Jamaica-Me-Crazy has tanned over 9,750 people and expanded from the three
original tanning beds to nine units (including a vertical model) plus retail
wares for vacationers.

Mary Jane would like to welcome
all chamber and community members to relax and enjoy the friendly atmosphere
and staff whether tanning before vacation, a special occasion, or just
escaping the daily grind.�
Co-sponsoring August�s luau luncheon was one of M.J.'s ways to thank

Ken Lindemann and his wife Marcia
are owners of Better Than A Jukebox, a Mobile Disc Jockey service that is
based in Bolingbrook.� They have been
in business for six years;� Ken has been
a DJ for over 10 years. With six other DJ's at their disposal Ken and Marcia
run a full time-24 hour a day service. Doing parties of all sizes and for any
occasion, they are capable of "Making the good times roll and creating

Tony Marquez
|
|
Tony Marquez was born and raised
in the Lockport area. He and his wife, Arlene, live in Elwood and have four
children and eight grandchildren.

In addition, Tony and Arlene are
the owners of a Pizza by Marchelloni franchise located at 108 Bolingbrook
Drive, in Bolingbrook, Illinois, where they specialize in excellent pizza.

|
Tony has been in the financial
services business since 1966. Tony is an independent financial service
provider and takes pride in his ability to help motivate individuals in
preparing for their financial futures. Through the use of life insurance,

Born in Nuevo Leon, Mexico, Rick was raised in Chicago, IL. He is
married to Rosanna Morales, with whom he has a daughter Andrea and son Evan. They
have been Bolingbrook residents since 1996, and Rick has served the community
through his memberships in the Bolingbrook Chamber of Commerce, Bolingbrook
Local Development Corp., and Bolingbrook Police Pension Board.

Rick has been with the LaSalle Bank since 1998 as VP/Branch Manager,
after his tenure with CIB Bank for the previous six years as Assistant Vice
President.

He received his BA Degree in Liberal Arts & Sciences
from the University of IL at Chicago, and completed the Bank Management Program
at the American Institute of Banking,
Chicago.

Julie Reimer
|
|
Julie recently began an
association with Goldman Promotions, after starting with another promotions company
two and one-half years ago. She began then with a client base of zero and has
worked her business up to the point of which made her eligible for two
"incentive trips" before moving to Goldman.� Julie attributes her continued success
thus far to Chamber networking events, customer service and alot of hard
work, and is excited about her new opportunities with Goldman Promotions.

Julie is married with two
daughters, ages 10 and 15. She and her family have lived in Germany, Hawaii, Boston
and Washington. "Traveling has taught me a lot about people", Julie
says.

|

Kim and her husband Rich Tomei have
lived in Bolingbrook since 1991.� They
have four children, ages 10, 7, 5, and 2.

Kim has worked for RR Donnelley
since she graduated from the University of Illinois � Champaign in 1985.� She is currently a Donnelley Logistics
Services Project Manager at RR Donnelley�s facility in Willowbrook.

Kim enjoys caring for her family,
volunteering at her church and at her children�s schools, and helping on the
Chamber Board.
